First round auditions (honor choir auditions): September 14, Acadiana High.
Honor choir rehearsal, 6 - 7:30: September 21, Grace Presbyterian.
All State Rehearsal, 5 - 6 p.m.; 7:30 - 8 p.m.: September 28, Grace Presbyterian. (We will need help in hearing students sight read, as well as learn the second round number during this rehearsal. EVERY teacher should plan to attend this rehearsal.)
Honor choir rehearsal, 6 - 7:30 p.m.: September 28, Grace Presbyterian.
Honor choir rehearsal, 5 - 8 p.m.: September 30, Grace Presbyterian.
Honor choir clinician, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.: October 1, Grace Presbyterian.
Honor choir rehearsal (definite times T.B.A.), 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.: October 2, ULL Angelle Hall
Honor choir performance, 2 p.m., October 2: ULL Angelle Hall
(Cost of audition, $12; cost to participate in Honor Choir, $20 -- includes t-shirt, lunch on Friday and patch)
Second Round auditions: October 9
Elementary solo and ensemble festival: November 4, various locations
Elementary / Middle School Honor Choir: January 7
High School Solo and Ensemble Festival, January 27, Acadiana High (schools with enough student participants to justify 1/2 day of judging, the judge will come to your school)
Chorus festival: March 14 (possibly 1/2 day on March 15, depending on the number of participants).
